IN THESE HARD TIMES, THANK YOU LORD FOR CREATIVITY!

My art studio is full ceiling to floor, but it's my little sanctuary!

Friends were talkin about their chickens and fancy chicken houses so I did a painting of my imaginary flock!

More ceiling to floor art!

Fun for all seasons!

Art outside too!
I like to share art too, so the Lord inspired me to send postcards during these scary times!

I try for 3 up a day.

All different.

Sorry, hope I am not boring you!

17 so far.

The three of us got out the other day to drive around and take things to be recycled.

I ordered from The Cellar Door Books in New Hampshire this copy of a precious 3"x4" handwritten book by Tasha Tudor which she created  years ago to allow her children to order clothes for their dolls and stuff animals secretly made by her for payment of buttons! They surprised me with her 2nd little book of miniature valentines the children could order for their dolls, stuffed animals or friends!  You can see why I love it and her creations so very much.  I have several of her books and even a letter from her in my collection! I hope you are find thing to do that excite you too! Happy Spring!!

A NEW NORMAL

Spending more time at home, I'm changing things a little bit here and there.  I added a few more lids. And Maurice took out the wall a/c unit that we haven't used for years and I added a picture.

Spring touches on table and chandelier. Tasha got in the picture too!.

Something happened to my chip and I can't turn the pictures now! I guess you will have to turn your computer or phone. Sorry! The new Normal is more reading by the stove.

More Painting!

And More Computer Time!

I did have a project this week. To clean the accumulation of "must keep" things off the enclosed porch. As you can see, most were not "must keep" any more!

I cleaned as I went along so now we are ready for "porch sitting" too!

I not only have a "Blue Bottle Garden" but porch too! As you can tell it was a rainy day!

Sorry!  Normally I have pansy's planted in all the containers by now. But the quarantine has changed a lot of things!

My precious "Mom's Cottage" up the drive from the house sits so lonely! Makes me sad! The floor is giving out so I can't go in, and the garden has poison ivy which I am terrible allergic to so I can't even weed it! But I walk up and enjoy the spring flowers and give it love talk about daily.

Spring on the Seasonal Kitchen Shelf

On the kitchen table

And a little Love Gift!

We were able to go to The Dinner Theater before the Quarantine.

So glad sister Judy is able to go with us too! Praying for all my family and friends during these scary times. But I know who is in control Right! God Bless Us all!

SLEEP UNDER THE STARS!

Just finished Susan Branch's book below and one of her comments struck a chord with me!  "Twinkle lights look good everywhere, year round. Sleep Under The Stars!
I just loved her handwritten book!!!  So I  got on Amazon and ordered  her fist two books in this series: "The Fairy Tale Girl" and "Martha's Vineyard Isle of Dreams"

Our 65th Engagement Anniversary picture  taken at Church

Been wanted to cut out and paint these Three Little Kittens for some time, so just stopped and did it!! Each one has their own personality!

This is where they ended up!

We were invited to our neighbors 75th Surprise Birthday Party so wanted to take something!

I should have extended the roof  line in the painting  on both sides, But I didn't!

One of my Facebook friends displayed this book and I thought I need to read that! So went to Amazon again! I start it tonight!

I received a delightful surprise gift and letter from a longtime Blog and Facebook friend Susan Gannon. This made me So Happy!

The darling little girl cross-stitched pillow in my favorite colors is being displaying on my Spring  Pool Table Display. The Miss Read Books are favorites of ours! So was so delighted to get this one! I will start reading it very soon!

We went to Longhorn Steak House for our 65th Engagement Lunch! Yum Yum!

I love Blue & White in the Kitchen! Maurice got me this Canister Set years ago for Christmas.

Enjoyed having my Sorority Sisters at our home for potluck and special program on Hydrocephalus by special friend Robin Xanders Holloway.

We have a neat Western Wear Store in Harrisonville "Family Center". They have a large selection of boots, worthy of a picture I thought!

Isn't that Turquoise one neat?

And Chartreuse!

Aren't these the cutest?

Husband Maurice gave me a Chiefs Super Bowl Championship Flag for my Birthday. It looks so pretty flying out there!  Hopefully I'll get a championship Royals Baseball one this summer too! Hope you are enjoying your days too!

STILL CELEBRATING OUR CHIEFS WIN!

My Birthday Gift from husband Maurice!

Finally decided on the perfect place

Decided I needed to do a painting of the celebration.  It took longer than I thought1 So only had one in me although I had two people that wanted to buy it right off!

Here is my display at Brick House Coffee& Eatery. I've been so happy with the sales. It has made a nice check the last 2 months for Orphan's Hope World Mission Ministries.

I put "best Buds" in for  "National Walk Your Dog Day"  It is 8"x8" priced at $35.00

"Good Ole Joe" needs to hang in another Cafe for awhile! It's priced at $50.00

More Art!

The Coffee/Eatery has a fun selection of coffees, drinks, pastries and sandwiches.

I bought these fun earrings there too!

Whe
When I went to walk at the Mall Sat. I discovered they were having a Dog Show so I walked among the dogs and took pictures!

All of them with a number waiting their turn!

Some of them were just watching. This was my favorite by far!!

All the grooming done and just waiting!!

Some of them had the routine down pat!

I love to add little words around my art work. Joy is my middle name and I loved the Micky/Minnie Block too!

Some frames my special friend Rose Marie gave me! I especially like the oval one!

My Lori Mitchell Cupid from Maurice for Valentines Day!

This front side was to appear first but the computer had other plans!

Sister Judy and I on Valentines Day. Maurice took the picture.

Great Niece "Charley" was born on my birthday so I got both of us The Birthday Girl by Lori Mitchell "Queen For A Day"
