FALL TRIP TREASURES

This cute wooden lighted pumpkin planter was just waiting for me at the little shop in Old Town Florissant, Mo. for $3.00! Yeah!

Found some old Halloween signs for 25 cents!

My friend Donna at Vintage Daze Antiques in Tipton, Mo. surprised me with these darling red and white Melimac  dishes for my back porch! So Cute!

Such cute little children's things for the child in me!

Humpty Dumpty has a roller on the bottom that makes his arms move while he rolls. Darling!

Hand made mask ( Molas) are made by the Woman of Kuna Yala of Panama.  It is an applique sewing made without a hoop created  for traditional blouses, handbags, quilts and other creative arts. The plastic bone jewelry was so unique for $3.00 a set. I had to get it to go with  my Halloween Outfit

I gathered leaves along the way and pressed them in magazines in the car. They are ready to use after just a few days!

I collect children's books too!

I'd been wanting to get an Adult Coloring Book  and Colored pencils (All the rage now) So decided this trip would be a good time for my neighbor friend Hope and I to give it a try!

This is my first one! Hope got away with her's before I got a picture!

There are all different kinds of coloring books, it's hard to choose!

This is a sample of the pages in this book.

My last of the 20+ Magnet Pumpkin I made for friends and family. Mine Yeah! Happy Fall to you too!

FALL ART AND FUN

Have made and distributed 20 of these little 4"X4 1/2" Pumpkin Fall Magnets to Family and Friends.

Great Grandson Eli is enjoying the climbing structures at a little neighborhood park

While the rest of us enjoyed a game of Rummikub.

My "Art" sign  on the mailbox got a much needed paint job the other day!

"Autumn Splendor" Maltese  style

"Boo" painting

"The Natives are Wild Tonight"

and "Queen of Everything"  are new art pieces  hanging at Kurzweils. On 7Hwy and T in Garden City, Mo,

I'm going to try my hand at embellishing  this light sweater jacket with heavy lace and crochet pieces. The companion picture showing the crochet pieces didn't transfer to my blog for some reason!

At the recent Harrisonville Fine Art Show I received an Honorable Mention on my "Folksy Fowl" Wall Hanging.

And an Honorable Mention on my "Old World Dining" Painting.

My "Golden Poinsettia" painting did not receive a ribbon but may be used for my Christmas Card painting.

There is always a full display of art each year!  Blessings on you and yours this Fall Season! You might enjoy my second blog: preciouscottageblogspot.com too!
