CELEBRATING THE 4TH, NEW STAINED FLOORS AND MAURICE 80TH IN BOONEVILLE AND TIPTON, MO.

My old Pluto (clock) is getting in the act for the holidays too!

The Dining Rm. Table is ready for a party, just have to find a date! July is a big birthday month for our family!

Star Flags are added to the garland!

It's not our Halloween Outfits! Had to dress-up to visit a friend in the hospital!

Our floors have really caused us a lot of frustration! The stain was much darker than we thought it would be and it didn't cover smoothly either!

So I went rug shopping at thrift stores an antique malls to help camouflage!  .(right spelling?)

Was hoping for one just like this in beige but this works!
This is not the rug I ended up with here. It's a round beige/brown braided rug. But couldn't find the picture when I went to do my blog!

I always enjoy a visiting and shopping at  Susie Childs: Tullee's when we go to Booneville!

She said she got tired of painting that day and grabbed a dollie or curtain near by and finished it that way! Cute!

Had fun at a new store: The Lucky Dog Shoppe in Booneville too!

The Antique Mall in Booneville is always decorated so cute outside.

Liked the fence! Neat inside too!

Another fun Mall at Exit 121!

Friend Donna Garber's Vintage Daze shop is another regular stop when going thur Tipton! Isn't her Patriotic Lady Cute!

Of course the picket fence caught my eye and my pocket book!

Donna loading it up for me! Had to wake Maurice up from his nap!!

I had to have that middle plate/bowl  flower too! I took pictures of where I put them in the garden but couldn't find them when got ready to blog! I've got to purchase a disk or 2 or 3 and clear all my gillions of pictures off my computer!

I got 2 metal plate flowers too but they weren't these!

Found two barns with painted quilts on them! Fun!!

This one was all freshly painted!

I found this darling little doggie cup/pitcher and decided sister Judy needed it!

I really don't like bugs and use alot of Sevin Powder but took an exception with this one!  I may paint some white polka-dots on him!  Hope your summer is going well! Blessings!

ARTIST COLONY IN EUREKA SPRINGS, ARKANSAS FOR MOM AND ROARING RIVER STATE PARK IN CASSVILLE FOR DAD.

THE ARTIST COLONY: My favorite place in EUREKA SPRINGS, ARK.!

So  MUCH CREATIVITY in every crack and cranny!

Most of the Artists live and create here but have other jobs also!

Such Inspiration just being there!!

They have special events thru out the year with musicians playing and games and art  being made and for sale!

A soft flowing fountain made with plates and bowls inspired me to try it again in my Blue Bottle Garden!

They have used nature to landscape their corner! So inviting!

Love this Fairy Look!

It Is!!

They have found the right place!

Husband Maurice really likes to walk! Still at 80 he walks his 3 miles 3 times a week! Great Grandson  Eli and our little Dog Tasha both joined him this morning!

Maurice also likes quite meditative spots of which this is among the TOP!  Thorncrown Chapel in the woods of  Eureka Springs is breathtakingly beautiful and awe inspiring!

You are surround with nature!

BEAUTIFUL!

WE JUST GOT HOME FROM OUR FIRST MINI TRIP CELEBRATING HIS BIG 80!  HERE HE IS WALKING IN ROARING RIVER STATE PARK

BREAKFAST AT THE INN SURROUNDED BY NATURE

On the way home stopped at my favorite Antique, Flea Market Boutique "Pitiful To Posh"  in Monett, Mo. I'm ALWAYS INSPIRED!  This time it was using hankies as place mats for a Woman's Tea!!

Cuteness every where you look!!

The big rustic Lobby of the Inn in Roaring River is our favorite home away from home!!

We both spend our evenings reading, or working on handwork in this delightful surroundings!

POLKA-DOT VILLAGE

Well here's the finished birdhouses from last blog. I keep changing my mind where I'm going to put them! But for now they are here on the back porch!

We are enjoying the new look of little twinkle lights instead of ceiling lights on the back porch. Maurice says they are idyllic!

Ever time we end of wearing similar colors of clothing I have someone take our picture!  Last Sunday the color was Yellow!
Tasha loves to get on the swing with us. She crowds right in the middle and looks so contented!

Judy saw this at Starlight and said it was good so I ordered it from Amazon used books and enjoyed it that way!

My friend Karen are I are still taking turns ordering The Block Magazine from Mo. Star Quilt Co. in Hamilton, Mo.  and sharing it. It is an excellent magazine!

I've started another Quote Book. I  tend to write them down here there and ever where! So I'm trying to get them organized  into Quote Books!.

I'm also trying to print Susan Branch style!

I start and end my day with this book: The Bible. I write my prayers in my journal which keeps my mind from wandering! Got this idea from our pastor J.P.Williams.  Have a great day!
