CELEBRATING THE 4TH, NEW STAINED FLOORS AND MAURICE 80TH IN BOONEVILLE AND TIPTON, MO.

My old Pluto (clock) is getting in the act for the holidays too!

The Dining Rm. Table is ready for a party, just have to find a date! July is a big birthday month for our family!

Star Flags are added to the garland!

It's not our Halloween Outfits! Had to dress-up to visit a friend in the hospital!

Our floors have really caused us a lot of frustration! The stain was much darker than we thought it would be and it didn't cover smoothly either!

So I went rug shopping at thrift stores an antique malls to help camouflage!  .(right spelling?)

Was hoping for one just like this in beige but this works!
This is not the rug I ended up with here. It's a round beige/brown braided rug. But couldn't find the picture when I went to do my blog!

I always enjoy a visiting and shopping at  Susie Childs: Tullee's when we go to Booneville!

She said she got tired of painting that day and grabbed a dollie or curtain near by and finished it that way! Cute!

Had fun at a new store: The Lucky Dog Shoppe in Booneville too!

The Antique Mall in Booneville is always decorated so cute outside.

Liked the fence! Neat inside too!

Another fun Mall at Exit 121!

Friend Donna Garber's Vintage Daze shop is another regular stop when going thur Tipton! Isn't her Patriotic Lady Cute!

Of course the picket fence caught my eye and my pocket book!

Donna loading it up for me! Had to wake Maurice up from his nap!!

I had to have that middle plate/bowl  flower too! I took pictures of where I put them in the garden but couldn't find them when got ready to blog! I've got to purchase a disk or 2 or 3 and clear all my gillions of pictures off my computer!

I got 2 metal plate flowers too but they weren't these!

Found two barns with painted quilts on them! Fun!!

This one was all freshly painted!

I found this darling little doggie cup/pitcher and decided sister Judy needed it!

I really don't like bugs and use alot of Sevin Powder but took an exception with this one!  I may paint some white polka-dots on him!  Hope your summer is going well! Blessings!

Those are the cutest shops-- that makes for such a fun day!! I could walk around all day at little places like that.
Thank you for making contributions to the Kindness Quilt-- I'm so grateful you would want to help. Slowly but surely contributions are arriving. I hope to photograph soon:)

Oh, what a delightful and charming post! And I agree with the others, your floors look lovely! I grew up in a rustic cabin which is the home where my parents are still living and their floors look like yours. I think they are one of my favorite things about the cabin :)

It was a joy to visit with you. Have a delightful Sunday. Hugs!

Hi Marlynne,

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog.

I love your red, white, and blue decorations. I think your floors are gorgeous! I think I would have bought that adorable chair.

Thank you for opening your doors and letting us see your beautiful spaces.

With gratitude,
Terry
