BUTTTON FLOWERS ( Bouquets & Postcards)

These are my Button Flower Postcards created for the July Postcard Exchange  in the "Roses on my Table" a online art community trade group. Each month there is a different subject. dinisduis                                                                                                                                                                         in Exc
These are my real Button Bouquets
The button stems are made by selecting one, two or three buttons , running a thin wire from underneath the button up thru the button ( or buttons) holes and down underneath again and twist around the stem close to the button. Then twist green florist tape around the stem, adding  a few fabric leaves, contining down the stem. I cut  the wire pieces about 10"-12" long. It's great fun, hope you'll try it!

Thank you for stopping by to see where I create. Your button flowers are so cute. I have some white ones I bought at a flea market several years ago.

Hi Marlynne,

So wonderful to hear from you. I did own Heart's Ease for 15 years, sold it when I began writing and illustrating full time. My dear friend bought it and then when she became ill she sold it.

I will be speaking in Missouri in the spring 2013. Maybe we will meet again.

LOVE your Button Flower Postcards!

Very creative and inspirational.

Joy to you,
