HAVING SOME FUN THROUGH THE HARD TIMES!

THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THE LAST PICTURE! OH WELL IT'S FUNNY AT THE BEGINNING OR  THE END!
DO YOU RECOGNIZE THE ELF?

WHILE STAYING IN THE CITY WITH SISTER JUDY DURING HER HUSBAND BOB'S ILLNESS AND DEATH, I WAS INTRODUCED TO THE NEAT CHILDREN'S BOOK AND GAME.  AFTER COMING BACK HOME WITH THE BOOK IN HAND I TOLD MAURICE WE HAD A GAME TO PLAY!  HE'S BEEN A GOOD SPORT TOO!

HERE IT IS!  MY PRACTICAL HUSBAND NAMED HIM "ELI" "ONLY HAVE TO CHANGE ONE LETTER, "F" TO "I" HE SAID!

WE DECIDED TO TAKE TURNS HIDING AND FINDING "ELI THE ELF".

ALSO ANOTHER GRANDMA/GRANDPA RULE. YOU HAVE TO SAY WHICH ROOM IT'S HID IN!

MAURICE WAS AFRAID WITH OUR MEMORIES WE MIGHT NOT FIND IT TILL EASTER!

MAURICE IS GETTING RATHER CREATIVE!

BUT, I'VE GOT AN EAGLE EYE!

T.V. ROOM THIS TIME!

MY HUMOROUS HUSBAND CAME IN WITH MY ARTIST FIGURE AND SAID, "YOU TOOK HIS CLOTHES  OFF"!  I HOPE WHAT EVER CIRCUMSTANCE YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON YOU WILL FIND A WAY TO HAVE SOME FUN TIMES TOO! BLESSINGS ON YOU!

This is such a cute post! You two have made me smile!
Have you looked on Pinterest at all the funny ideas people have as to what to do with the elf? They don't just hide him. He gets into lots of mischief. lol
Like, you may find him in the bathroom...holding on to the toothpaste tube and making a little mess with it on the counter. Things like that!
I love that you and Maurice are playing this sweet little game! A good reminder to keep things fun!
Merry Christmas!
Erica :)
