Loved seeing all you've been up to, Marlynne. Our Cardinals had lost their games, so we were rooting for our Royals. They're still champs!
My daddy was a mail carrier when I was born in 1961 in Columbia. He did other jobs as I grew up (sherriff's deputy, policeman, detective) but later returned to the USPS. My brother is 51 and decided this is his last year to be the ?union? ?president? at the Columbia USPS where he's worked at least 25 years. (Both Dad and brother are US Marines.). You're right, it is great to see your husband still being honored for his many years of service as a mail carrier.
Happy week,
Kelley~
Always appreciate your visits to my blog! So fun coming here! Lots to see always.... Oh what fun to zinnias. What a great idea! I'm so happy that Fall is here. I love it so much. Have a beautiful week ahead.

Hello Marlynne ,Cogratulations to your husband on his award for service to delivering the mail.
Some big garden beds to tend, must be pretty when they all are in flower.
What a fun post! It looks like you live in a gorgeous slice of heaven!! Congratulations to your hubby, what an honor!

Hi Marlynne!
I'm so impressed by Maurice's 36.5 years of service with the post office! That's really wonderful!
I'm also curious about what you ladies do with the dried zinnia heads. Love your new painting!
Erica :)
