WELCOME BLOGGERS TO MY FOLK ART STUDIO!

This happy corner is just outside my studio. with my self portrait greeting all those that come to visit!

Red, yellow and blue are favorite colors so you will see a lot of  the primary colors in this room!

I love to paint, sew and create

Little still lifes are set around to inspire and paint

Here I am working on the Uncle Sam for this year, which is a duo. entitled "The Patriotic Kids"

Creating Story Quilts and colorful 3-dim pieces are a favorite thing to do!

I saved one of "The Patriotic Kids" as a gift for one of the visitors on this years Blogger Tour. Just leave a comment so I can contact you if your  name is drawn on July 26th and find out where to send it.

I sewed this favorite quote on to a  sarong and hung it in my folk art back yard. Hope you never stop having fun either!

You certainly should call yourself a Folk Artists. What fun! I love all the color. "Freddy", a bold quilter, says RED is her neutral. Looks like you two are cut from the same cloth! Love your quilts, all your projects, and that you put yourself into the blog party posts!
Sweet blessings, Chris

Hello Marlynne, I am delighted to meet you. I love everything about your blog . . . it is a happy place that puts a smile on my face. I love your motto, "You Can never Have Too Much Love". I agree! I am retired and enjoying every day that the good Lord sends my way.
Since retiring three years ago. I have started blogging, joined an Old Time Fiddlers group where I sing and play guitar and I do volunteer work at a couple nursing homes and senior center. Staying active keeps us young. By the way . . . I love your self portrait, that is adorable :)
Please accept my invitation to visit my blog and to get in on the give-a-way that I'm having. I would be honored to have you as a mutual follower.
Your newest follower and blogging sister, Connie :)
