My new project for the back yard is making Prayer Flags. I chose the word "RENEW" for my first flag in honor of Spring and the newness of life enjoyed with my grandson Davey and great grandson Eli. I was inspired by the project of Vivika Hansen DeNegre. She invited people from all over the world to join her in making these flags. Each flag is created in the artists own style, then hung outside for awhile, it's words and sentiments dissolving into the wind and being spread to all it touches.
