ANOTHER WEDDING BOARD FOR A SPECIAL COUPLE
I have been making Wedding Boards and Baby Boards as gifts for many years. The recipients always know what's coming and seem to be anxious to get their gifts. This special couple were Sweethearts all thru High School, then came Graduation, College and Military and they lost track of each other. Both married others , raised children, had dissolved marriages and carried on. Then one morning on a chance encounter about a year ago their paths crossed. They went to coffee, ended with prayer and their love was rekindled. This Saturday we will celebrate with them this beautiful romance cultimating in a Forever Marriage!

BIG PINK TISSUE ROSES FOR CHURCH VALENTINE BANQUET
After dinner I started on this project. Got 12 done so far, so they take about 15 minutes per flower. Not bad. I'll just keep making them every evening until we decide we have enough. Two other girls are doing them too! They are easy to make. Just take 2 sheets of tissue (I used 2 shades of pink) fold in half longways and fold accordian or fan style in 1 1/2" strips. Trim off the folded end. Tie in the middle with a twistem and then pull apart the sheets carefully working around in a circle. And in no time at all you have a flower! Yeah!

DOLLHOUSE PAINTED (winter project)
This Dollhouse was made by a friend at Church for a money making project. Of course everyone knew I'd have to buy it! I said it would be my winter project! Well, good thing I didn't say which winter! I just finished painting the outside yesterday. I like it real well! The inside will have to wait for several weeks. I've got to start making Big Pink Tissue Roses (Lots of Them) for the Church Valentine Banquet. Will post the finished project later!

KITCHEN TABLE READY FOR SPRING! / VALENTINES DAY
My Folk Art "Dorothy & Tonto" and embroidered sign say there is no place like "Home Sweet Home"! The old quilt and dollies along with my favorite poka-dot pitcher and napkins "liven up" the scene.

I"M BACK IN THE STUDIO AGAIN!
I've been wanting to "liven up" this painting of DAVEY'S TREEHOUSE for sometime so decided I'd do that first. I have a very special memory involving the tree house. On a rainy "pancake morning" not long after it was built. I could just imagine how the rain would sound coming down on that metal roof, and how fun it would be to have breakfast up there among the trees. So with a little persuasion, we carried pancakes, bacon, o.j., milk and coffee along with folding chairs and T.V. trays up the ladder and "Made a Memory", a very special one for me!

GREETING CARDS FROM HEXAGON QUILT SCRAPES
While cutting out more Hexagon Quilt Blocks I was thinking I need to stop and find a couple of my cards suitable for sending to two friends going through hard times right now. And then a light bulb went off--Why not use these scraps! So with cardstock, sissors, glue and scrapes my newest style of Greeting card was born! Reminded me of a quote from the Bible that Mother use to refer to frequently, "What is that in your hand?"
