One of my very Favorite Author/Illustrators Tomie dePaola surprised me with a response to a letter I wrote to him 2 yrs. ago I enjoy rereading his book "Christmas Remembered" every Christmas season. I also have several of his children's books in my collection.
I've been wanting to make a Marlynne Folk Art Angel for my Studio Wall so got it done this past week. Of course she had to be dressed in red with polka dots! I have some others cut out to make for the shops too!
I enjoy my hanging pennants so much I decided to make some for the shops and maybe bag up a few sets for sale.
Fun fabric half circles ready to string with Twisted Jude Twine.I'd like to invite you to visit my other blog; www.preciouscottage.blogspot.comand Marlynne Snare Folk Artist on Facebook. Wishing you a Happy and Safe 2014!

Hello, my name is Marlynne Joy Snare (pronounced Marilyn) and I am really excited to be jumping into this new world of "blogging". I call myself a "Folk Artist" and enjoy creating with fabric, paint, wood and all types of natural materials. It will be fun to share some of these inside and outside the house projects with you too!
